Is this hood made of "Dry" or "Wet" carbon fiber?

This hood is manufactured using a vacuum-infusion "Wet" carbon fiber process. It features a real 3K twill carbon fiber top layer bonded to a high-strength fiberglass skeleton, offering an excellent balance of weight reduction and structural durability.

Do I need hood pins for installation?

While the hood utilizes the factory latch system, hood pins are highly recommended for all aftermarket carbon fiber hoods. This ensures maximum safety and prevents hood lift during high-speed driving or track use.

Are the vents functional?

Yes, the VS Style hood features fully functional heat extraction vents on the sides and an enlarged center scoop. These are designed to lower engine bay temperatures by allowing hot air to escape more efficiently than the factory hood.

Will the carbon fiber fade in the sun?

Our hoods are finished with a premium, automotive-grade UV-resistant gloss clear coat. However, to maintain the mirror-like finish long-term, we recommend regular waxing or applying a ceramic coating.
